The Vitaj Social Centre in Dolná Krupá was established in response to the need for the integration and support of people arriving in Slovakia from abroad who find themselves in a new and often challenging life situation.
The project builds upon a tradition of hospitality and solidarity, transforming these values into practical assistance for migrants, foreigners, and refugees seeking safety, stability, and a new home.
The Vitaj Social Centre is a welcoming place where people can find support as they adapt to a new environment. Its mission is to help newcomers take their first steps in society, provide practical assistance, and create opportunities for building new relationships and social connections.
At the same time, the Social Centre contributes to intercultural dialogue and promotes mutual understanding between local communities and people arriving from abroad. By fostering encounters, cooperation, and shared experiences, it helps build an inclusive and welcoming society for all.
Our goal is to provide support where it is needed most – during the challenging period when people are beginning a new life in an unfamiliar environment.
At the Vitaj Social Centre, we offer:
The Social Centre is not only a place of practical assistance but also a place of welcome and belonging, where people can find reassurance, build confidence, and know that they are not alone.
The Vitaj Social Centre operates in Dolná Krupá, in an environment that offers peace, stability, and the space needed for new beginnings. The Centre’s team consists of professionals, volunteers, and individuals who view integration as a shared social responsibility.
The project is funded through grants, partner organisations, and generous donors who believe that solidarity, openness, and mutual respect are essential foundations of a healthy and inclusive society.
The Vitaj Social Centre is a place where doors to new opportunities are opened and where hope for a better future begins to grow.
